Art and craft workshops for the young and young at heart! Run by local artist/ designer Sally Cooper.
Workshops venue: BALMAIN PUBLIC SCHOOL, Eaton St, Balmain 2041
Schedule of School Holiday Workshops for the Jan 2018 break.
Monday 15th Jan
- Bird Masks - 10am - 12.30pm
- Jewellery Making / Fuse Beads for boys & Girls - 1.30pm - 4pm
Friday 19th Jan
- Junk Art Sculptures - 10am - 12.30pm
- Sky Drawings / Negative Space art - 1.30pm - 4pm
Tuesday 23rd Jan
- Sewing with Felt - 10am - 12.30pm
- Writing / Drawing your own Comics /(or Pokemon cards!) - 1.30pm - 4pm
Thursday 25th Jan
- Ken Done Inspired Australia day artworks - 10am - 12.30pm
- Fun Yarn Crafts - 1.30pm - 4pm
All workshops cost $50 each and run as follows:
Morning sessions - 10-12.30pm
Afternoon sessions - 1.30-4pm
Stay for both workshops and get the lunch hour for free (but please bring a packed lunch!).
An extended hours full day option from 9.00am - 5.00pm is available, at an additional cost of $20 per child.
Please note: All workshops are intended as drop-off events for kids aged 7+.
(sometimes 6 is okay - please ask).
Younger kids must be accompanied by a adult (who will help the child).
Families are welcome - including parents! If you want to try out one of the crafts just buy yourself a ticket as well as your child!
