Young At Art Sydney workshops and after-school art classes are led by owner Sally Cooper who has a BA (hons) degree in Design and many years experience working as a designer.

Sally is a practicing artist and freelance designer and has recently completed a Master of Art degree at UNSW Art & Design, in Sydney.

Since 2010 Sally has been facilitating art and craft workshops, parties and lessons to children from babies to up to 12 years, and she has worked extensively with a local primary school. In 2018 she added adults to her student repertoire.

Picasso said “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up”. Sally is passionate about inspiring creativity in others, the young (kids) and the ‘young at heart’ (adults); she aims to sustain or reignite the wondrous creative inhibition inherent to childhood.
